Fabricio Werdum has responded to reports that he has left the UFC.

Following a surprising knockout loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 90, Fabricio Werdum has left the UFC.

UFC heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum has reportedly stated that he will return to action at UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote on October 25.
Werdum, who recently signed a new five-fight contract with the UFC, stated that a potential fight against Brazilian fighter Junior “Cigano” dos Santos could earn him a shot at the promotion’s heavyweight title next year.

It all seems to be falling into place for UFC heavyweight star Fabricio Werdum (11-3-1).
He had a slow start in the UFC, losing a unanimous decision to former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC 70 in Manchester England. Neither man looked particularly impressive in this fight.
